Miatacage is desperate to discredit anything DGE Motorsports does or has to offer because they know we are a threat to their business.

As of 5/13/08 DGE Motorsports and Miatacage.com are no longer working together as a team. Miatacage has decided they want to have our standard Miata cage kits made behind our back and sell them without paying DGE Motorsports as per our verbal agreement along with some other products we have designed. We have tried to contact Sean Hedrick at Miatacage.com numerous times by phone as well as by email to discuss this and other issues but have yet to receive a reply.

We are in the process of developing a unique centrifugal super charger system that will be of the bladeless type. We are currently in the design stages and hope to start making parts for the prototype in January. If all works as hoped this unit will be more compact and efficient than other systems on the market. Once the prototype is complete we will be performing some bench tests and if these prove successful we will be installing the system on our endurance Miata for some real world testing. Stay tuned for more information.

DGE is in the process of developing our Tall Man Miata Cage Kit. The drawings are almost completed and this kit should be available by 8/31/07. The kit will sell for the same price as our other Miata kit. This kit will allow the seat to be positioned further back for taller drivers. Stay tuned for more information.

Because of misrepresentation of the zoning of our new shop, the county shut us down and ordered all work to stop at this location so we have moved back to our old shop. Not all bad news though. The owner of the old shop made some substantial improvements to the facility.

We ran the 8 Hrs of the Cascades on 3/17/07 in the Bachofner Miata finishing 2nd in class and 11th overall which was very respectable considering this was the cars first enduro and first race since adding all of that extra weight in the trunk. If it hadn't been for a small issue with the wheel studs on the left front we probably would have finished first in class but that's part of racing.
The crew and drivers all did an awesome job. The crew was able to get the car back out on track as quickly as possible and the drivers kept the car out of trouble and in one piece so we could finish the race. I think the car looked almost as good after the race as it did before the race.
Great job everyone. We look forward to working with this group of people and car in future enduros.

We moved into our new shop. The shop is pretty much set up and ready for work.
